UN Chief meets Arab League Secretary General

Saturday 26 Sep 2015 - 19:06 Makkah mean time-13-12-1436 (Image from Reuters) New York, (IINA) - Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon and Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil El-Araby have met on Friday on the sidelines of high-level meetings at the United Nations, WAM reported. They exchanged views on the peace process in the Middle East and the latest developments in Syria, Yemen, Libya and Iraq. Ban Ki-moon and El-Araby also discussed the Arab peace initiative and agreed on the need to implement the Geneva Resolution on Syria. AG/IINA
