Ankara (IINA) – Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and his French counterpart Francois Hollande on Saturday expressed their resolve to fight against terrorism, Anadolu Agency reported citing Turkey’s presidential sources.
The determination to fight against terrorism was made during a phone conversation between Erdogan and Hollande following the Paris attacks on Friday night that killed over 100 people and wounded scores of others.
Extending his condolences to Hollande, Erdogan said that he shared the pain of French people and would stand by France as it combats terrorism.
At least 128 people were killed in multiple gun-and-bomb attacks at several locations across the French capital Paris Friday night.
French President Francois Hollande blamed Daesh (IS) for the attacks.
