Omani Professor wins Best International Mentor Award

Vancouver, (IINA) - Omani professor Nailah Al-Lamkiyah has recently won the Best International Mentor Award in academic medical education for the year 2015. The award was provided by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC), and it was presented to Al-Lamkiyah in Vancouver, Canada, ONA reported. 
Al-Lamkiyah, who is working as professor of radiology at the Sultan Qaboos University Hospital, is also the deputy CEO for the Academic Affairs at Oman Medical Specialty Board (OMSB). 
Al-Lamkiyah has more than 34 years of experience. She started her medical career as a resident doctor at Toronto University in Radiology Department. She worked in the medical academic field in several countries including the Sultanate of Oman, Canada, USA and UAE.
The award comes in recognition of her efforts in developing clinical medical education and its success as one of the best in the world. The award is provided annually by RCPSC to the best academics and medical professionals from around the world.
