Ankara, (IINA) - Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan vowed on Sunday to defeat terrorists who have staged a series of attacks on Turkey in the past 18 months, The Guardian reported.
“These attacks, which threaten our country’s integrity and our nation’s unity and solidarity, do not weaken our resolve in fighting terrorism but bolster our determination”, he said in a statement.
“Our people should not worry, the struggle against terrorism will for certain end in success and terrorism will be brought to its knees”.
State-run Anadolu Agency quoted President Erdogan following the deadly car bomb attack in Ankara as saying: "Our state will never give up its right to self-defense against all kinds of terror threats".
He said that Turkey has recently become a target of terror attacks because of instability in the region. "Terror organizations and their pawns are targeting our innocent citizens in the most immoral and heartless way as they lose the fight against our security forces", he said.
