Ankara (IINA) – Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that "90 percent of the Russian airstrikes in Syria are targeting the Free Syrian Army."
Davutoglu noted in a television interview on Sunday evening carried by Qatar News Agency (QNA) that "Russia knows best that the Assad regime which controls 14 percent of the Syrian territory is unable to bring stability to the country, and that Russia’s entry into conflict is not a sign of the regime's strength, but rather reveals its bankruptcy."
"Russia is also well aware that it is not possible for an unjust regime to crush the will of the people who rose up against it," pointing out in this respect to Russia's statements about its readiness to cooperate with the Free Syrian Army.
With regard to domestic affairs, Davutoglu called on all Turkish political streams to follow the logic of common destiny, saying: "We are competing in the field of politics, but we are not enemies, and the country's stability and security is our common ultimate goal”. But, he added, some people always want to create an atmosphere in Turkey to harm the Justice and Development Party (AKP) and make it lose votes at any cost."
