New Hampshire, (IINA) - U.S. Republican Presidential hopeful Donald Trump warned on Wednesday that in case he is elected as U.S. President, he would send all Syrian refugees admitted to the U.S. back to Syria.
"I hear we want to take in 200,000 Syrians. And they could be ISIS” said Trump during his speech in New Hampshire.
After describing them as a "200,000-man army", he added: "I'm putting the people on notice that are coming here from Syria as part of this mass migration, that if I win, if I win, they're going back".
According to BBC, what Trump said was a reversal in his policy as he told Fox News earlier in September that the U.S. should take in more refugees.
On the other hand, many democrats including former US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that the United States should raise the permitted number of Syrian refugees from 10,000 to 65,000 Syrians.
