Algiers, (IINA) - French Minister of National Education, Higher Education and Research Najat Vallaud-Belkacem said on Sunday that Algerian-French education cooperation will refocus its priorities regarding the educational reform initiated by Algeria, APS reported.
During a press conference, Vallaud-Belkacen stated: "(Algerian) Minister of Education Nouria Benghebrit has justifiably requested France to refocus cooperation with Algeria on reform (of education) which aims at strengthening the coaching and improving the governance of schools".
She added: "We rely on the Algerian-French High Level Committee to develop the twinning between the Algerian schools and their French counterparts".
In this regard, she invited the Algerian universities to benefit from the services of Campus France, a French institution specializing in the granting of scholarships to international students, saying that France receives the largest number of Algerian students at 22,000.
