Makkah, (IINA) - The Saudi Minister of Hajj Bandar Al-Hajjar said recently that Saudi Arabia is in the process of enacting sanctions against countries that violate the Saudi regulations and the laws of Hajj, noting that the Ministry of Hajj has already submitted to the Council of Minsters a draft of the sanctions to be taken against any country that violate the regulations.
Al-Hajjar stated that his ministry held the annual meeting with representatives of other countries and stressed out the need to adhere Saudi laws. He also pointed out that the Ministry of Hajj signed memorandums with the representatives that oblige them to teach the pilgrims of their country some aspects of the Saudi law.
In a related context, Al-Hajjar firmly assured internal pilgrims and Hajj companies that the e-services the Ministry provides for pilgrims will preserve both parties’ rights, he also said that he believes the program will achieve the desired success and will end manipulation and exploitation of pilgrims.
