OIC chief receives credentials of Turkish representative

Jeddah, (IINA) - Ambassador Salih Mutlu Şen, newly appointed Permanent Representative of the Republic of Turkey to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) presented on Sunday to the OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani his Letter of Credence.
During the talks after the presentation of credentials accrediting him as the Turkish permanent representative to the OIC and its organs, Ambassador Şen re iterated Turkey’s commitment to the OIC and its programs & activities. He also expressed his interest to work very closely with the General Secretariat for the benefit of the organization and its member states.
Welcoming the Ambassador to the OIC, the Secretary General underlined the key role of Turkey in materializing the objectives of the OIC and assured Ambassador Şen of required support and assistance from the General Secretariat during his assignment in the OIC.
