Manama, (IINA) - Vice Chairman of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), Othman Al-Rayes, recently stated that 500 participants from Bahrain, the Gulf Region and the international community are expected to participate in the 7 panel sessions of the first Annual Global Employers’ Summit, BNA reported.
The 2-day summit will be hosted in Bahrain on October 6th, under the patronage of Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa.
Al-Rayes said that "The 1st session will discuss doing business in the Gulf region; the 2nd is about the role of the financial sector; the 3rd about facilitating the free movement of workers; the 4th on the global youth unemployment rates; the 5th on trade, jobs and growth; the 6th on promoting inclusion and diversity; and, the 7th on business and human rights" .
"At their core, the sessions will emphasize collaboration among employers and employees and aim to promote investment opportunities in Bahrain, liaison between the private sector’s institutions, probing means of achieving sustainable development and enhancing the competitiveness of Bahrain", he added.
Also, Al-Rayes called business owners and all interested sides to participate in this major event and to convey the experience of the private sector, he pointed out that this is also an opportunity to interact with other business owners and build business relations.
