Jordanian FM, UN envoy discuss counter-terrorism efforts

Amman, (IINA) - Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Nasser Judeh and UN Secretary-General’s special envoy for Iraq and Head of the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) Jan Kubis discussed counter-terrorism efforts in Iraq and the region here on Monday, Petra reported.
Judeh expressed Jordan's support for the international agency in order to enable it to perform its duties in the neighboring country and the Arab arena as well.
Kubis emphasized UN's desire to cooperate and coordinate with the Kingdom to bring about peace and stability to the region.
