Baku, (IINA) - Director General of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) Dr Abdulaziz Altwaijri met here on Wednesday with Mubariz Qurbanly, Chairman of the State Committee for Work with Religious Organizations of Azerbaijan.
During the meeting, Dr Altwaijri discussed ways to enhance cooperation between ISESCO and the Committee.
The Director General, who is on a working visit to Azerbaijan, addressed the opening session of the Third World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue.
Dr Altwaijri also took part in the meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Baku International Centre for Multiculturalism, as member of the Board, and chaired the 14th meeting of the Consultative Council in Charge of Implementing the Cultural Strategy for the Islamic World.
Earlier, Dr Altwaijri was received by President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban Aliyeva.
