Abu Dhabi, (IINA) - UAE is hosting the Arab-Chinese Women Forum on April 28 under the theme of “Women's Economic Empowerment,” WAM news agency reported.
The Forum, which is organized by the General Women's Union, the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, the Chinese government, China Women's Federation and UN Women, will see the first ladies of China and Arab countries and more than 200 Arab and Chinese women leaders, pioneering businesswomen and representatives from regional and international organizations as well as representatives of various local Chinese media.
The one-day forum will comprise four sessions, three of which are under the themes: "Arab-Chinese Women and Sustainable Development", "Leading Women, Opportunities and Challenges", "Women's Pioneering Experiences in Business Field", while the fourth session will display pioneering models in support of entrepreneurship among young women.
The organization of the forum comes within the framework of the China-Arab Cooperation Forum, which was established between the Arab League and the People's Republic of China in 2004 in order to develop the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the two sides.
