Wednesday 01 Apr 2015 - 14:16 Makkah mean time-12-6-1436 Algeria Partakes for first time at the International Show of Tourism DITEX (Image from Algeria press service) Avignon, France (IINA) - Algeria represented by the National Office of Tourism (ONT), will participate for the first time at the 11th edition of the International Show of Tourism DITEX, which will start on Thursday in Avignon (France), Algeria Press Service reported. Algeria's participation in the two-day event is "part of the promotion of the destination Algeria, on the international and traditional markets for the Algerian tourism, in line with the recommendations of the leading plan of tourist development (SDAT-2030) on the strategy of tourism promotion and development in Algeria," ONT said in a press release. "The DITEX is held in a special period of the year, before the summer season," said the same source. The event will enable the Algerian delegation to publicize for the 16th International Show of Tourism and Travels (SITEV-2015), which will be held from 14 to 17 May in the Exhibition Centre of Algiers.
