The meeting is part of an effort to bridge the gaps and remove misconceptions about Islam and Muslims.
Organizers say it’s equally important to reach out to people of all walks of life and make sure there is support for vulnerable people.
“It’s become more important now because of the extremist activities conducted by the mislead Muslims. So we believe Muslims need to be taught, they need to be guided and non-Muslims have to be informed,” Sultan Mahmoud from the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama’at said.
Another meeting took place Sunday at the Baitun Nur mosque.
