UN envoy arrives in Aden to meet President Hadi

Thursday 26 Feb 2015 - 15:46 Makkah mean time-7-5-1436 Jamal Benomar (Photo from the Internet) Sana’a (IINA) – Special Adviser to the UN Secretary General on Yemen Jamal Benomar arrived Thursday in the southern city of Aden to meet with President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi. Media sources reported that Benomar's talks with President Hadi would focus on latest developments in Yemen, most notable the transfer of the dialogue sessions between the political forces and the Houthi armed group to a more secure location outside the capital Sana’a. The UN Security Council on Wednesday urged all parties in Yemen, including the Houthis, to adhere to resolving their differences through negotiations. Also, the UNSC urged all parties to accelerate these negotiations to be held in a location to be determined by the Special Adviser to the Secretary General on Yemen. AB/IINA
