ISESCO condemns killing of Egyptian Copts in Libya

Rabat, (IINA) - The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) strongly denounced the killing of 21 Egyptian Copts by the terrorist group ISIS in Derna, northeastern Libya.

ISESCO considered in a statement published on Monday that this despicable act of terrorism is a new proof of the savagery of this terrorist organization and its complete deviation from Islamic teachings, adding that it is a suspicious organization seeking to distort the image of Islam and stir religious and sectarian strife in the region.

In the same context, ISESCO presented its condolences to the families of the victims, the government and people of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
