Saturday 28 Feb 2015 - 17:58 Makkah mean time-9-5-1436 Flooding in Madagascar (Photo: Morocco Today) Antananarivo (IINA) – At least 14 people were killed in flash floods on Friday in the Madagascan capital Antananarivo after a night of torrential rain that caused dams to break, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported. The Emergency Management Bureau said at least 14 people died and about 24,000 were driven out of their homes due to flash floods caused by heavy rains on Friday night. It said that an evacuation process was carried out in several affected neighborhoods of the capital early Friday. AB/IINA
