OIC chief condemns terrorist bombing in Bahrain

Jeddah, (IINA) - Iyad Madani, secretary general of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), strongly condemned the terrorist bombing in Karanah, north of Manama, in Bahrain on Thursday in which a security official was killed and 17 persons, including a child, were injured.
In a statement issued by the OIC secretariat, the secretary general reiterated the support of the OIC for the unity of Bahrain, the safety of its citizens, for Kingdom’s territorial integrity, and for all the measures taken to enthrone security and stability in the Kingdom.
The OIC chief recalled the principled position of the OIC, which condemns terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, and emphasized the need for concerted efforts by the international community to defeat terror and terrorists.
