Tunis, (IINA) - Bahrain Deputy Prime Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa reiterated Bahrain's solidarity with Tunisia in its war against terrorism during a speech on behalf of the King, in an international anti-terrorism rally staged by Tunisia under the slogan "United to Defeat Terrorism", Bahrain news agency (BNA) reported.

Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi led the march in which leaders of many countries participated. The rally was organized in the aftermath of a terror attack, which targeted Bardo Museum last week leaving dozens of innocent people dead and injured.

At a meeting with the Tunisian President at the parliament house where the rally started from, the Bahraini deputy PM conveyed heartfelt condolences of the King, the government and the Bahraini people on the victims of the coward terror act, which targeted innocent people to terrorize them and incite sedition.

The deputy PM also pledged Bahrain's full-fledged support to Tunisia in all measures taken to maintain its security and stability.

Both leaders underlined the keenness to further bolster bilateral relations, stressing the importance of pan-Arab action to support the anti-terrorism efforts and boost security and stability in the Arab region.
