PM Davutoglu: Remains of Suleyman Shah moved from Aleppo to Turkey

Ankara (IINA) – Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said the remains of Suleyman Shah, who was the grandfather of the founder of the Ottoman Empire, have been moved from his tomb in the Syrian city of Aleppo to Turkey.

Davutoglu explained that the operation of moving the remains of Suleyman Shah from his tomb in Syria was carried out on Saturday at 9:00 pm (Turkey local time), when some 39 tanks, 57 armored vehicles and 100 cars, as well as 572 soldiers crossed the border from Turkey to Syria and gained access to the mausoleum at around 12:30 pm, according to Anatolia news agency.
