King Mohammed arrives in Riyadh to take part in Morocco-GCC summit

Riyadh, (IINA) - Moroccan King Mohammed arrived on Tuesday in Riyadh to take part in the Morocco-GCC Summit, which will be held on Wednesday.
Upon his arrival at the King Salman air base, the Moroccan monarch was welcomed by Prince Faisal bin Bandar, governor of Riyadh, and other senior officials.
Morocco World News Agency reported that during thevisit, the King is accompanied by a large delegation made up of the King’s advisers, Prince Moulay Rachid, ChargĂ© d’affaires at the Royal Office Mohammed Kettani, Foreign Minister Salaheddine Mezouar and Minister Delegate to the Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita.
The Morocco-GCC Summit, will give new impetus to the strategic and multifaceted partnership between Morocco and the Gulf countries.
It will also be an opportunity for consultation and coordination of positions to take up the challenges and threats facing the Arab region, exchange views on regional and international issues of common interest and develop common positions on this subject, especially within this delicate regional and international context.
