Tehran (IINA) – Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian reiterated his country's support for the Palestinian people on the occasion of Palestine Land Day, Mehr News Agency reported on Friday.
"The Islamic Republic of Iran will continue its support for the oppressed people of Palestine," said Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on the occasion of Palestine Land Day.
The Iranian senior diplomat stressed that the crises in the region and terrorism cannot and should not divert attentions from the issue of Palestine, saying that the problem of Palestine is on the top of the problems of the Islamic world.
"Now efficient backing of Palestine and serious fight with terrorism are the two priorities of the region," reaffirmed Amir-Abdollahian.
The Iranian official described the Zionist regime as the main source of insecurity in the region and highlighted that Israelis' insistence on Judaization, settlements, and re-identifying Jerusalem just increases the hatred held by Middle-easterners toward the usurpers of Palestine.
