Khartoum (IINA) – Sudanese Defense Minister Gen. Mohamed Ahmed Awad bin Auf praised Saudi Arabia for its good organization and planning for the "North Thunder Military Exercise", Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
In a press statement, the Sudanese minster described the North Thunder Military Exercise as successful, saying that it is an appropriate step for the Arab coordination in military fields.
For his part, Sudanese chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Imad Eddin Adawi described the maneuvers as the largest of its kind, noting that the drills have achieved their objectives. He added that the maneuvers gave Sudan an opportunity to gain new military experiences.
