Sudan's Bashir receives message from Egyptian counterpart el-Sisi

Khartoum (IINA) – Sudan's President Omar al-Bashir received on Sunday a message from his Egyptian counterpart Abdel Fatah el-Sisi, pertaining to furhter strengthening joint cooperation and coordination between the two countries in regional and international forums, Sudan Tribune reported.
Egyptian Foreign Minister Samih Shukri, who arrived in Khartoum on Sunday, told reporters following his meeting with Bashir that the two nations hold identical views and positions on various regional and Arab issues.
He stressed that Khartoum and Cairo must strengthen the joint cultural, political and economic ties in order to face challenges and create opportunities to achieve development and prosperity in both countries.
Shukri expressed satisfaction with the existing level of relations between the two brotherly nations in all domains.
For his part, Sudanese Foreign Minister Prof Ibrahim Ghandour announced that foreign ministers of Sudan, Egypt and Ethiopia will meet in the coming few days. He added that the meeting would discuss social, cultural, security, economic and political cooperation among the three nations, pointing to the ongoing preparations to convene the meeting of Egyptian-Sudanese Higher Committee in Cairo during the upcoming weeks.
