Khartoum (IINA) – Tunisian Ambassador to Sudan Imad Rahmouni has announced that Tunisair will resume flights between Khartoum and Tunis within the coming days.
In an interview with Sudan News Agency (SUNA), Rahmouni said the resumption of Tunisair flights would contribute to supporting trade and encouraging communication between the Tunisian and Sudanese businessmen for the benefit of the role that can be played by the private sector in the development of cooperation between the two countries.
The ambassador revealed that the outcome of the recent visit by a delegation of Tunisian businessmen to Sudan has exceeded all expectations, a matter that supports the vision of integration between the two countries. He noted that the meetings of the joint higher committee between Tunisia and Sudan, scheduled to be held in Khartoum over the next few months, will witness the signing of 18 cooperation agreements.
According SUNA, the resident representative of Tunisair is expected to arrive in Khartoum this week to complete procedures to pave the way for more communications between the two peoples and to facilitate bilateral visits.
