Muscat, (IINA) - The Sultanate of Oman will host the 8th International Glaucoma Surgery Congress on February 18-20, at the Al-Bustan Palace Hotel, ONA reported.
Oman Ophthalmic Society will organize the conference in collaboration with the International Society of Glaucoma Surgery. The event is expected to witness a vast local, regional, and international participation.
The conference targets health workers from the Sultanate, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and the world, especially those working in Ophthalmology.
The conference will consist of several sessions of scientific papers focusing on Glaucoma, its diagnosis, and early stages treatment, which will be presented by a number of specialized speakers from the Sultanate, GCC, Europe, and Canada.
It aims at briefing the participants with the ophthalmology updates, exchanging knowledge and experiences with the regional and international participants, and identifying the new surgical techniques used in Glaucoma diagnosis and management.
Moreover, the conference will include an exhibition to display the latest pharmaceutical products and electro-medical devices used in treating the Glaucoma from specialized international companies, along with scientific publications.
