IIRO launches relief program for Syrian refugees in Sudan

Khartoum, (IINA) - The International Islamic Relief Organization (IIRO), an affiliate of the Muslim World League (MWL), launched on Sunday an urgent relief program for Syrian refugees in Sudan’s capital city of Khartoum, SPA reported.
In a speech during the opening ceremony, and on behalf of the Organization’s Secretary General Ihsan bin Saleh Tayib, IIRO Director Hamid Al-Rifai said that the organization has begun distributing the emergency relief to the Syrians refugees in Sudan, which consists of 450 food baskets at a cost of SAR 762,000.
He added that this support comes within the framework of the Organization’s programs to provide assistance to all the needy people in the world and especially in war-affected areas.
