Tajikistan to host AFC U14 Regional Championship for girls

Dushanbe, (IINA) - The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) confirmed that Tajikistan will host the Asian Championship 2016 for girls under 14 years old, National Information Agency of Tajikistan reported.
Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Nepal and Sri Lanka were among the countries that requested hosting the U14 Championship 2016 for girls in the zone of South and Central Asia.
The Regional Asian Championship will take place on April 18, and it continues to May 1, 2016. The matches will be held in the Metropolitan Stadium “Aviator” as well as the Academy of the football club “Istiqlol” in the Almosi settlement, Hissar district.
Nine teams are expected to participate in the competition, and they are: Tajikistan, Iran, Kyrgyzstan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal and Sri Lanka.
Tajikistan will also have a training course for new referees for the duration of the championship.
