Tunis, (IINA) - The Popular Front (FP) bloc in the Tunisian parliament submitted a legislative initiative on Thursday for a draft law to criminalize the normalization of relations with Israel, Palestinian Information Center reported.
"The bill fits into the policy and position of FP to immunize Tunisia against any attempt of foreign interference, particularly the Zionist", said Ahmed Seddik, a member of the parliament of the FP bloc at a press conference at Bardo Palace.
Seddik noted that this is an initiative to “confirm Tunisia's support to the Palestinian people”.
According to the Middle East Monitor, the FP bloc organized two marches since the start of the Intifada last October, the marches were to protest against the Israeli aggression and the settlers’ incursions of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
It is noteworthy that the FP is a coalition of political blocs that includes eleven Tunisian parties and it was founded in 2012.
