Jerusalem (IINA) – Pakistan has reiterated its firm stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the rights of the Palestinian people.
In a message to mark the International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People, Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif said his country would continue to support the Palestinian people and their right to self-determination. He stressed that this right is inalienable.
The prime minister regretted the failure of the international community to resolve the cause of Palestine, pointing out that the Palestinians still suffer injustice, oppression and human rights violations of the occupying forces.
The International Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People is observed by the United Nations on or around November 29 each year.
