Amb Abdullah Abdullatif
Manama (IINA) – Bahrain's Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Ambassador Abdullah Abdullatif Abdullah said no single country is immune from terrorism, which necessitates all states in the region to double their efforts and engage in strengthening thier solidarity to eliminate the root causes of the increasing terrorism that endangers the entire world, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
He made the remarks during a meeting with the heads of the accredited diplomatic missions to Bahrain along with the heads of the missions of the UN Security Council's permanent members.
He gave them a detailed account on the arrest of 47 terrorists, saying that the members of this group are some of the most dangerous terrorists who are active through worldwide webs and seek to undermine the security of the Kingdom after having been transformed into tools for the implementation of external agenda that targets the stability and security of Bahrain.
"Terrorism is one of the biggest dangers that threaten peoples' development and stability worldwide and no country, no matter how powerful it is, can ever defeat violence and terrorism by its own," the Bahraini diplomat said.
He added that terrorists will not be able to survive in the presence of a comprehensive and transparent cooperation and a common determination to eliminate terrorism in all its forms and manifestations, as well as a common resolve to dry up its financing sources.
