OIC condemns terrorist attack on Hussainiat in Saudi city of Seihat

Monday 19 Oct 2015 - 10:19 Makkah mean time-6-1-1437 OIC chief Iyad Madani Jeddah (IINA) – The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) strongly condemned the Friday’s terrorist attack which targeted a Hussainiat in the city of Seihat in Al-Qatif governorate, east of Saudi Arabia, claiming the lives of five innocent civilians and causing injuries to another nine. OIC Secretary General Iyad Madani reiterated the Organization’s full rejection and condemnation of all terrorist acts regardless of their sources and perpetrators and reaffirmed the OIC’s support to the Kingdom in its fight against terrorism and violent extremism. Madani expressed his condolences to the families of the victims and wished the injured speedy recovery. AB/IINA
