Amman, (IINA) - Jordanian Minister of Social Development Reem Abu Hassan on Tuesday discussed with Saudi Minister of Social Affairs Majid Al Qasabi means to boost social cooperation between the two countries, Petra reported.
During the meeting, the ministry's media spokesperson Fawaz Ratrout presented a briefing on the vision and accomplishments of the ministry that has 3000 employees, and a budget of JD125 million.
Jordanian Minister Abu Hassan during the meeting voiced willingness to sign cooperation agreements with the Saudi side and exchange expertise between the two countries in social work field.
For his part, the Saudi minister expressed desire to establish a strategic partnership with the ministry of social development in the interest of both sides, and benefit from the Jordanian expertise in the social work field.
During the meeting, the two sides agreed to hold bilateral meetings for officials from both countries to reach a unified law for social work.
