Crimea to host international conference on Islamic education

Baku (IINA) – The City of Yalta on the Crimean peninsula will host on October 10-13 an international scientific conference under the theme of "Islamic Education in Crimea: Historical stages and ways to revive them”.
The four-day event will be held on the occasion of the 515 anniversary of the establishment of Zengjirla School for Islamic Studies – one of the oldest Islamic educational institutions in Eastern Europe, and in memory of its founder Mangle Cray Khan, Islam Rowe online reported.
The conference agenda includes several topics, such as Islam and science in the Crimea, and Education and Science in the Emirate of Crimea, as well as film screening about the history of Zengjirla School to be held on the margins of the conference.
It should be noted that the conference is organized by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Crimea, Religious Administration of Muslims of Crimea (RAMC) and Sevastopol City, the Fund for support of Islamic Culture, Science and Education, the Crimean Tatar Museum of History and Cultural Heritage, and the Crimean Engineering and Pedagogical University.
