Arab League chief to lead delegation in Sudanese national dialogue

Khartoum, (IINA) - Secretary General of Arab League Nabil El-Araby is due to travel to the Sudanese capital of Khartoum on Friday, where he will lead a high-level delegation participating in the national dialogue conference, SUNA reported.
The Arab League has welcomed the national dialogue and described it as a new stage that Sudan is witnessing, emphasizing the importance of the visions compatibility between all parts of the Sudanese society in order to reach a real national consensus and contribute to the solution of various Sudanese problems.
The Arab League envoy to Khartoum, Ambassador Salah Halima, reiterated in statement to SUNA, the league's support to the process of the inclusive dialogue, calling on all the political forces and the armed movements to work for preparing an appropriate atmosphere for the success of the inclusive national dialogue in Sudan.
He pointed out that the Sudanese community has a historical opportunity to realize a national consensus and a resolution to the country's issues.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Halima said that the Arab League Secretary General will hold meetings with a number of the state's officials as well as leaders of different political parties.
