UAE, Indonesian leaders agree to boost bilateral ties

Abu Dhabi, (IINA) - Sheikh Mohammad bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, held discussions with Joko Widodo, President of Indonesia, who is on an official visit to the UAE, WAM reported.
Sheikh Mohammad welcomed the Indonesian president and his accompanying delegation, wishing further development and growth of bilateral relations in all avenues in the best interest of the two friendly peoples and countries.
The discussions also reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries, especially in the economic, trade and investment fields, and ways to develop them as well as to boost partnership for the benefit of the joint interests of the two countries.
The Indonesian president expressed his heartfelt condolences on the martyrdom of the members of the UAE armed forces who died in action while participating in the Arab coalition's operation “Restoring Hope” in Yemen. He paid respect to the UAE's leadership, government, people and martyrs' families.
The two leaders exchanged views on a number of issues and the latest regional and international developments.
At the end of the discussions, the two sides affirmed both countries' intention and interest to enhance their bilateral ties which reflect the aspirations of the two countries' leadership and their desire to accomplish the joint objectives and interests in all domains.
