Makkah (IINA) - The Muslim World League (MWL) has appealed to the United Nations, the international community, Arab and Islamic countries and human rights organizations to intervene urgently to help Syrian refugees.
Dr. Abdullah Al-Turki, secretary general of the Muslim World League, said in a statement that MWL has followed with great sorrow the suffering of Syrian refugees during their escape from their country as they sank in the sea and ill-treated in some countries that have arrived while escaping from death because of the aggressive acts practiced by the unjust regime.
He said: “We call upon the United Nations, the international community, human rights organizations and Arab and Islamic countries to find an urgent solution to end the suffering of Syrian refugees who have left their homes and money to escape from the oppression and barbarism of Al-Assad's regime.”
