Rabat (IINA) – The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) condemned the publication of an offensive poem against Mother of the Believers Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her), by the Yemeni newspaper Al-Thawra in its Wednesday's edition.
The newspaper, run by the Houthi rebel group, published the offensive poem written by a Yemeni poet against Sayyidah Aisha, using improper words that cannot be uttered by a Muslim who knows the value of the Mothers of the Believers and the household of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him).
In a statement obtained by the International Islamic News Agency (IINA), the ISESCO stressed that this disgraceful work is an indicative of the deviation and misguidance of the writer and the publisher as well. It added that this outrageous act also discloses the reality of the group to which these deviants belonged to, and its abhorrent sectarianism objectives.
ISESCO called on the member states and the Islamic organizations to condemn this disgraceful act and blatant insults against the Prophet's wife.
