75 memorizers participate in Qur’an contest in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek (IINA) – Some 75 students from various centers, schools and Qur'anic memorization circles participated in the Qur’an memorization competition organized by the Holy Qur'an Memorization International Organization, in collaboration with the Religious Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan, and Al Ihsan Charitable Society in the Kyrgyz capital of Bishkek.
The competition consisted of four sections: memorizing the entire Qur'an, memorizing the entire Qur'an with the meanings, memorizing 20 parts, and 10 parts. There was a six-member panel of jury to evaluate the performance.
During the honoring ceremony, the awards were distributed to the winner students.
Speakers at the event praised the efforts of the Holy Qur'an Memorization International Organization in serving and caring for Qur'anic memorizers in many countries. They also commended the efforts of the Saudi government, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, in serving Islam and Muslims, and in spreading and teaching of the Holy Qur'an to the all people of the Islamic nation.
