Ramallah, (IINA) - Palestinian president Mahmoud Abbas lauded King Mohammad efforts toward the Palestinian cause, underlining the sovereign’s unwavering support for Palestine, Morocco World News reported.
Abbas, who was speaking at a reception by Morocco’s ambassador in Ramallah Mohammad Hamzaoui on the occasion of throne day, surveyed the honorable positions by the Kingdom in favor of Palestine, recalling efforts made by late king Hassan to serve the Palestinian cause.
He also said that he is glad to share the joy of the Moroccan people on the occasion of throne day, underlining the solid ties between Morocco and Palestine.
These ties are unswerving and will remain as such until the Palestinian people recover all their rights, which are also advocated by the Moroccan people, he said.
Mahmoud Abbas also commended actions undertaken by the Bait Mal Al Quds Agency which is supporting Al Quds inhabitants via the construction and restoration of hospitals and schools.
