Makkah, (IINA) - The Saudi General Administration of Health Affairs in Makkah on Wednesday vaccinated health workers, who are prepared to work for  Hajj, against meningitis and influenza.
“These precautions are to help preventing infectious diseases during the Hajj season of 1436H and to provide a healthier environment for pilgrims”, said Dr. Mowaffak Abu Talib, director of Hajj and Umrah Administration.
Abu Talib noted that getting vaccinated against meningitis and influenza is mandatory for all health workers participating in the pilgrimage.
He also pointed out that there are vaccinations available to pilgrims at all hospitals and health centers in Makkah.
