Saudi Arabia pays its share in Palestinian Authority's budget

The Saudi Fund for Development

Cairo (IINA) – The Saudi Fund for Development has transferred an amount of $60 million to the account of Palestine’s Ministry of Finance.
Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Saudi Ambassador to Egypt and Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the Arab League, said in a statement published by WAFA agency, that the Kingdom has transferred an amount of $60 million to the account of Palestine’s Ministry of Finance, representing its monthly share in the Palestinian Authority's budget for April, May and June 2015 ($20 million for each month).
Qattan assured that Saudi Arabia will continue supporting the Palestinian cause at all levels, pointing out that the Kingdom has been keen to increase its contribution to the Palestinian Authority’s budget from $14 million to $20 million monthly since 2013.
