Saudi Environmental Management Award raised to Islamic world level

Rabat (IINA) – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has issued approval to raise Saudi Arabia's Award for Environmental Management from the level of the Arab world to the level of the Islamic world so as to include member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
This was announced by President of Meteorology and Environmental Protection Dr Abdulaziz bin Omar Al-Jasser while chairing the opening session of the third meeting of the Islamic Executive Environment Bureau at the headquarters of the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) in Rabat on Wednesday. The winners of Saudi Arabia's Award for Environmental Management also honored on the occasion. 
On the sidelines of the event, Saudi Ambassador to Morocco Dr Abdulrahman Al-Judai'a highlighted the significance of the Kingdom's Award, which indicates the keenness of Saudi government on environmental issues.
