Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan

Jerusalem (IINA) – Palestinian prisoner Khader Adnan has entered 51st consecutive day of his hunger strike in an Israeli jail in the West Bank, in protest against his administrative detention.
Lawyer Jawad Boulos, director of the Legal Unit of the Palestinian Prisoners' Club, said Tuesday that no deal has been reached on prisoner Adnan’s case with the Israeli authorities.
He added that positions on finding an acceptable solution remained divergent, and the new escalating tone of the Israeli authorities was clear during the negotiations which were held in the recent days.
Despite the suffering, Boulos stressed that Adnan remained steadfast in his clear vision and position.
The lawyer added that prisoner Adnan praised the positions and roles of those who supported him, and cautioned that media outlets needed to be extremely careful in disseminating unverified news about him.
