Amman, (IINA) - Jordanian Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh received on Sunday former German President Christian Wulff, who came to attend the 3rd German-Arab Water Forum, Petra reported.
Tarawneh viewed Jordan's stances towards different issues in the region, highlighting the depth of Jordanian-German ties.
He pointed to the challenges the Kingdom faces as a result of hosting 1.5 million Syrian refugees, due to which the country's resources have been pushed to the limit, in particular its infrastructure and water sectors.
Wulff underscored Jordan's humanitarian role in tackling the refugee issue, calling upon the international community to intensify its aid to the Kingdom to enable it perform the duty in this regard.
