Algiers (IINA) – President of the Republic of Cuba Raul Castro Ruz will start Sunday a three-day visit to Algeria at the invitation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika, Algeria Press Service reported.
"In addition to the guidelines on bilateral relations for the two governments, the talks between Presidents Bouteflika and Castro will allow the two Head of States to exchange views on the international situation, particularly in Africa and the Arab world as well as in the Americas region," the Presidency of the Republic said in a statement on Saturday.
The delegation accompanying the Cuban President will explore with their Algerian counterparts the ways of strengthening cooperation and exchanges between the two countries, in line with the exemplary bonds of friendship and solidarity that unite the Algerian and Cuban peoples for more than five decades," the statement added.
