Tunisia’s Essebsi holds talks with Libyan PM Al-Thinni

Tunis (IINA) – Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi held talks on Tuesday with Visiting Libyan Interim Prime Minister Abdullah Al-Thinni, Tunisia News Press (TAP) reported.

Al-Thinni gave an overview of the political and security situation in Libya and the progress of ongoing talks as part of the inter-Libyan dialogue sponsored by the United Nations.

Essebsi said that dialogue and consensus between various Libyan parties are the only way out of the crisis. He added that Tunisia always stands by the Libyan people and backs efforts for the formation of a consensual national unity government, having the ability to tackle the security, economic and social challenges.
