Jordanian royal court chief receives UN senior officials

Amman, (IINA) – Jordanian Royal Court Chief Fayez Tarawneh received on Sunday heads and representatives of executive boards of a number of United Nations' programs and organizations, Petra reported. 
During the meeting, which reviewed relations between Jordan and UN organizations, Tarawneh expressed Jordan's appreciation of these programs and organizations' role in supporting the Kingdom's capabilities in dealing with various conditions, especially those related to refugees' humanitarian, relief aspects, and development programs in general.
Tarawneh stressed that Jordan, under the leadership of King Abdullah, continues to fulfill its role towards the region and its peoples' issues, thus contributing to achieving peace and promoting security and stability.
From their side, United Nations' officials expressed their appreciation for Jordan's outstanding efforts in dealing with regional and international issues with wisdom and moderation, renewing UN organizations' supportive stances to enhance the Kingdom's capabilities in various fields.
