Manama, (IINA) - Bahrain ministry of foreign affairs strongly condemned on Thursday terrorist attacks in Egypt’s North Sinai in which a number of Egyptian military personnel and civilians were killed and many others wounded, BNP reported.

The ministry expressed the sincere condolences of the Kingdom to the victims, their families, and the government and wished a swift recovery to those injured as a result of this despicable and cowardly terrorist attack.

The ministry reiterated in a statement the "Kingdom's support to Egypt in its efforts to enforce security and stability over all the Egyptian territories by combating terrorism that jeopardises the safety of the citizens, poses threat to its territories, and impedes prosperity and development efforts."

The ministry reaffirmed that the "Kingdom of Bahrain remains steadfast in its denunciation of terrorism and violence in all their forms and manifestation regardless of their motivations and justifications."

It stressed the "support and solidarity of the Kingdom with the regional and international efforts to eradicate terrorism and consolidate international peace and security."
